How We Make Money

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. This commission helps us keep the site running and the price data updated daily.

What This Means for You

• You never pay more. Our affiliate links do not increase the price you pay. The retailer pays us a referral fee from their marketing budget.
• We show all retailers, not just the ones that pay us. Retailers marked with an asterisk (*) in our comparison tables do not have affiliate programs. We include them because showing you the genuinely cheapest option is more important to us than maximizing our commission.
• Our rankings are based on price, not commission. The lowest price is highlighted regardless of whether that retailer pays us a commission or not.

We currently participate in affiliate programs with the following nurseries: Nature Hills Nursery (ShareASale), Stark Bros (Impact), Spring Hill Nurseries (Sovrn), PlantingTree (ShareASale), Fast Growing Trees (Impact), and others. Commission rates typically range from 5% to 15% of the sale price.

Non-Affiliate Retailers

We also track and display prices from retailers where we have no affiliate relationship, including Brighter Blooms, Great Garden Plants, and Proven Winners Direct. These retailers are included because our goal is to show you every option available, not just the ones that benefit us financially.
