PlantPriceTracker is a static website. We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use the site.
If you sign up for price alerts or our email newsletter, we collect your email address. We do not collect your name, address, payment information, or any other personal data.
How We Use Your Email
If you provide your email address, we use it solely to:
- Send price drop alerts for plants you're watching
- Send our weekly deal roundup newsletter (if you opt in)
We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We will never send spam.
Cookies and Tracking
We use localStorage (a browser feature similar to cookies) to remember your preferences, such as your growing zone selection. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
We may use a privacy-focused analytics service (such as Plausible or Fathom) to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. These services do not use cookies, do not track you across sites, and do not collect personal information.
Affiliate Links
When you click an affiliate link to a retailer, that retailer may set their own cookies to track the referral. This is standard affiliate marketing practice and is governed by each retailer's own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to retailer cookies.

Third-Party Services
Our site is hosted on Vercel. Their privacy policy applies to the hosting infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or any advertising trackers.
Your Rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every email we send. You can clear your localStorage data by clearing your browser data. If you want us to delete your email address from our records, contact us and we will do so promptly.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
